FENDI SoHo Lunar New Year Event | In-Store Cocktail Party - February 11th

Concept: Fendi celebrated the Lunar New Year and the relocation of the Fendi SoHo pop-up with a Chinese-focused cocktail event occurring the first week that the boutique was reopened.  Hosted by Alexander Liang of KENTON Magazine. 

Objective: Target 75-100 local and international Chinese influencers, Hennessy + Fendi VICs/VIPs, and local and national Chinese media

 

SOCIAL MEDIA: Event garnered 940,000 social media impressions through strategic use of partner social channels and guests’ posts.

Event: Howard University Bison Ball +Excellence Awards

Bison Ball is an annual white-tie gala honoring the Howard University community and it's commitment to Truth and Service. It is celebrated with an awards ceremony entitled The Excellence Awards that honors members of the Howard community for excellence in the community and their fields and is accompanied by a seated dinner. The awards ceremony is followed by a reception filled with dancing and delicious hors d'oeuvres. 

I built the theme for the event based on Tupac Shakur's famous poem The Rose That Grew From Concrete and held the event at the Historic Andrew Mellon Auditorium. The Mellon has hosted countless presidential events over the past 83 years, including the historic signing of the North Atlantic Treaty by President Truman. For the event, I enacted a Black + White dress code to accent the abundance of roses properly.
